Our HONEY

Seriously happy bees live, work, and play at Toad Hollow.

We have cultivated over 55 acres of diverse native wildflowers, in addition to the surrounding forests, fields, rivers, and streams. More than just bees make their home on Toad Hollow's land. We've spied herds of deer, bobcats, flocks of wild turkeys, turtles, snakes, frogs, toads, eagles, and the occasional German Shepherd and White Golden roaming the property.

Want to learn more? Feel free to visit our FAQ page to learn more about native honey bees, or stop by the Gallery to see what we've been up to on the farm. We hope you'll love our honey as much as we do.

ABOUT TOAD HOLLOW

Gentleman Farmer Tom Reed acquired Toad Hollow in Battle Ground, Indiana in 2003. Captivated by the rolling prairie grasses and wildflowers, serenity of the fishing pond, mystery of the thick woods, and the song of the stream running along the property boundaries, he recognized it immediately as a small slice of heaven.

After cultivating acres of prairie grasses and wild flowers and tending an ever expanding garden, Tom knew a group of particularly hard-working farm hands were missing. And so came the bees.

In collaboration with brother-in-law and fellow Gentleman Farmer William Korn, these two dove deep into the world of bees and honey. Eleven hives and hundreds of pounds of honey later, Toad Hollow is officially home to the sweetest, most floral honey Indiana has to offer.
